7th Annual Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance Rolls Into Town
7th Annual Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance rolls into town this Sunday. Beyond a car show, the May 1 Concours is a destination event for a good cause.
Beverly Hills CA - Greystone Mansion is one of only a few nationally registered historic landmarks in Southern California and this Sunday, May 1, the entire Mansion will be open to attendees of the 2016 Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance, including seldom-seen wings such as the speakeasy and billiards. Vintage motorcycles and over 140 automobiles in eighteen classes, manufactured prior to 1974, including Pre-War US and Pre-War European will be showcased from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
“This is one of Southern California’s premiere car shows,” says Cindy Brynan, director of the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance. “Greystone Mansion is a perfect setting to showcase beautiful vintage cars at the event. And, we are very excited to announce we’ve commissioned local artist Richard Pietruska, Professor at the Pasadena Art Center College of Desgin, to create custom signature awards branded to Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance.” The Greystone Concours d’Elegance is produced by the City of Beverly Hills, with the support of the Friends of Greystone, whose mission is to raise funds to restore and preserve the Doheny Greystone Estate. Monies from ticket sales will help in their restoration and preservation efforts.
The all-inclusive, private event ticket price includes unlimited gourmet food, beverages and adult libations from Tito’s, Stella Artois and Asombroso Fine Tequila and desserts by Sugarfina.
