Burbank CA, Aug 1 2014 - What’s red and mighty and back all over? The front face of the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel convention hall is draped in Auctions America colors - talk about making an entrance for the 2nd annual event. The outside line of supercars provides a pretty good indication of what’s about to take place inside.
The huge Marriott parking lot is just big enough for the mass of collectible metal gathered here for days. Auctions America was initially expecting a few hundred cars offered. The sales team must be earning their keep – the volume has jumped to over 450 cars.
Being in studio-land Burbank, and across the street from Jay Leno’s garage near the Bob Hope airport – it’s no surprise that NBC (also local) is carrying the event live. Check it out on NBC Sports. Head to www.auctionsamerica.com to join the bidding online. Good fortune to all!
