Seaside CA, Aug 20 2016 - Concorso Italiano 2016 is in the books -- celebrating exquisite cars, entertaining guests, and delicious food!
Concorso sponsor Fiat presents new 2017 Fiat 124 Spider
Wonderful sponsors help make our show possible, as well as the hundreds of volunteers, and of course you, the Italian car owners who share their beautiful automobiles that make the day one for the memory book. The 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France won Best of Show.
Friday night kicked off the celebration with a welcome reception for the ages. Well over 100 vehicles were placed early and more than 500 people gathered to kick off Concorso Italiano 2016!
By 10 AM Concorso Italiano was out of this world as Mr. Bruce Wanta shared his fascinating relationship with NASA and how he came to acquire the Mars Rover that was on display at the stage.
Just before the lunch break Matt Stone interviewed Tonino Lamborghini. The conversation was one for the ages. Reflective, insightful, entertaining and humorous, Tonino was hitting on all cylinders and had the audience roaring with laughter. Shortly after lunch the 2016 edition of the award winning Concorso Italiano Fashion Show kicked off. Our Social Media Manager again “impressed” with his… noticeable wardrobe choice followed by models showcasing spectacular high end brands.
There was much more excitement that filled the day including inductees to the Concorso Italiano Hall of Fame, the Doug Magnon Preservation Award, exciting interviews, and of course an endless array of cars. Next Concorso Italiano - August 19 2017.
