Galpin Auto Sports captivated onlookers at the 2009 SEMA convention in Las Vegas as they built a 1969 Mustang from scratch, live in just 3 days! Seven Galpin crew members took less than 24 hours over 3 days to hand build the ’69 Mustang live on stage and by 1 pm Friday, the key was finally turned and the Mustang’s motor fired up accompanied by cheers from the crowd. This ’69 ‘Stang features PPG Green Pearl Chartreuse paint, Katzkin Leather interior, Grant steering wheel, Ford Racing 5-speed manual transmission and 351 engine giving 525 hp with 515 pounds of torque. The Hilborn Fuel Injection was converted to electronic fuel injection with the Fast XFI system. G.A.S. installed Shelby 2-piece wheels, Nitto NT05 tires, SSBC disc brakes and a Chris Alston Total Control Performance Steering and Suspension package.
