Oliver's Love Ride 2015 Primer
Glendale CA, Sep 9 2015 - Oliver Shokouh (Glendale Harley-Davidson) introduced the first Love Ride 32 years ago – a small community gesture that exploded into a nationally famous event attracting celebrities and news crews and thousands of fans. This is the Grand Finale Love Ride, travelling as usual from Glendale to Castaic Lake on Oct 18 2015.
Oliver has had a great run leading the Ride – spending a great deal of time organizing every year. He’s taking a well-deserved break, with hopes that it can pick up again in the near future.
This year's charity beneficiary is the Wounded Warrior Project. This year's musical guests include Foo Fighters, Social Distortion and other special guests. Add in trade show, motorcycle and other activities and you have a worthy show for thousands of Love Riders.
"It's supposed to be a fun afternoon of music, barbeque and celebrating our 32 years of doing something positive for the motorcycling community, and something tangible will get out there and touch someone and help those less fortunate than we are - while we're having fun! What a great concept."
