Petersen Museum Pieces Among Cars Sold at Los Angeles Auction
New York Times, Aug 7 2013 - Auctions America, the new subsidiary of RM Auctions, seems to have found L.A.’s number with its successful inaugural sale, held in Burbank on Aug. 1-3. Prices were mainly strong with a few bargains creeping through here and there. One car that had numerous observers scratching their heads was the heavily customized 1939 Lincoln Zephyr known as “Scrape.” www.wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/08/07/petersen-museum-pieces-among-cars-sold-at-los-angeles-auction/?_r=0
